Men’s Ministry
Faith Temple Assembly
The goal of men’s ministry at Faith Temple Assembly is to provide an atmosphere of fellowship, camaraderie
and be a brotherhood in Jesus Christ. It is based on the New Testament pattern of Jesus and the disciples.
The disciples met daily breaking bread and having prayer and fellowship. They were close knit and had love
for one another while not always agreeing. The elders taught the younger and helped to bring them to maturity.
Our goal is to provide a place for all men young and old to gather, fellowship and grow in the
Lord Jesus Christ. We can sharpen each other as iron sharpens iron.
We seek to go from isolation to a mature body built up together in the Lord.
Mature Christian men being an example to the younger men as spiritual fathers even to the fatherless
both physically and spiritually. Being fathers means being there for our physical family and our Church family.
The goals are for small groups of men to meet together at least once weekly. Our format is to be as mature
brothers taking the young physically and spiritually under our wing and being a father image.
Disciples are made not created. Time together as Christian brothers is a requirement
not an option. This we do until every man grows up into mature members of Christ’s family and body.
